Keynote Speeches

Speakers from different schools and organizations who will talk on their contributions to the fulfillment of one of the chosen goals. This can come in the form of how they have contributed to the goal. Some examples include setting up a student-lead initative that supports a related cause, creating and sharing a documentary regarding a certain group of people experiencing poverty or organizing a MUN conference to find solutions as to how institutions could become stronger.

Click on our "Organizations and Guests" page to see which organzations and speakers will be joining us!

Simulations

Thought provoking games/situations/activities for the delegates to play and experience. The games should enable the delegates to gain experience on critical issues regarding one or more of the chosen Global Goals, and allowing delegates to leave with something new learned.

Burst Your Bubble

A direct service activity that will be done by the delegates on the day of the event. The service activity or the process has to relate to one or more of the chosen Global Goals, and contribute to the fulfillment of these goals.

For our Burst Your Bubble activity, delegates might be split into groups.

Community Fair

A small event in which small businesses, community NGO’s, and student clubs  can set up booths to advocate, create action, sell products, and connect with those from other schools who are working on the same goals. Delegates will be given the opportunity to attend this fair during lunch.

Ice Breakers and Collaborative Games

Breaking the ice amongst the delegates through games and fun activities. These activities and games will not only energize delegates but also promote collaboration rather than competition.

How-To Workshops

Delegates will be split into smaller groups to attend How-To workshops in rotations. Speakers in a How-To workshop share their experiences as a contribution to the fulfillment of one of the goals but also teach their audience a skill they could use themselves. Some examples include “How to be a good facilitator in 5 easy steps”, “How to start a social initiative” and “How to become a changemaker”.
